Dr. Saranya Parthasarathy is currently training as a fellow in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery at Chennai Breast Centre. She completed her MBBS from Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute, Chennai, in 2021. Her keen interest in surgery led her to pursue postgraduate training in General Surgery from Mysore, which she successfully completed in 2025.
She has actively participated in numerous national conferences, presenting papers and posters. She holds a publication in a Scopus-indexed journal titled “Routine Upper Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Prior to Elective Cholecystectomy”
Beyond academics, she has been a member of MedHope, a non-profit organization supporting children with cancer. Through this initiative, she has helped organize medical camps and fundraisers aimed at supporting children suffering from hemato-oncological malignancies. Dr. Saranya is also a member of the Tamilnadu Medical Council, Association of Surgeons of India (ASI) and the Association of Breast Surgeons of India (ABSI).
