Fellowships

At Chennai Breast Centre, a NABH-accredited, dedicated breast health facility, the fellowship programs in Breast Surgery, Breast Imaging, and Breast Pathology are led by an exceptional multidisciplinary team of senior faculty with deep expertise in clinical practice, medical education, and mentorship. Each fellowship is designed as an integrated program, ensuring comprehensive exposure across all subspecialties that make up modern breast care.

The senior faculty members ensure that Chennai Breast Centre’s fellowship programs deliver rigorous, specialty-focused training that prepares doctors for excellence in comprehensive breast care and leadership in their respective fields. Duration: 6 Months

Start Dates: June 1st and January 1st

Stipend: Rs.50,000 per month.

Fee: Rs.75,000 (One-time Joining Fee)

6 Months Breast Surgery Fellowship

Dr. Selvi Radhakrishna, Consultant Senior Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon, serves as the Course Coordinator for the Breast Surgery Fellowship, a six-month intensive training program. With over two decades of experience in oncoplastic breast surgery, she is widely regarded as an outstanding clinician and educator. Over the last ten years, she has trained numerous breast surgeons, shaping the next generation through her structured teaching approach, technical expertise, and unwavering commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.

6 Months Breast Imaging Fellowship

Dr. Geetha Priya, Senior Consultant in Breast Imaging and Interventional Radiology, is the Coordinator for the Breast Imaging and Interventions Fellowship, also offered as a six-month program. With extensive experience at both Apollo Hospitals and Chennai Breast Centre, she has mentored many DNB residents and fellows. Her expertise in multimodality breast imaging and image-guided interventions provides fellows with comprehensive, hands-on training in diagnostic and interventional breast radiology.

6 Months Breast Pathology Fellowship

Dr. Nandini Govindarajan, Lead Pathologist at Chennai Breast Centre, heads the Breast Pathology Fellowship. With more than a decade of dedicated teaching experience, she has mentored a large cohort of pathology trainees. Her guidance offers fellows in-depth exposure to diagnostic breast pathology, multidisciplinary tumor board discussions, and the nuances of breast cancer biology.
