ABSICON 2025
Our team participated in ABSICON 2025 held in Kolkata. Dr. Selvi Radhakrishna delivered a lecture on the emerging possibility of omitting sentinel lymph node biopsy in breast cancer. The CBC team further conducted a hands-on workshop on the role of radiology in breast disease management, covering ultrasound-guided biopsies, clip and wire insertions, and aspirations. Dr. Debashri presented a poster and won the ABSI Indo-UK Travelling Fellowship Award for her work on Digital Dialogue in Oncology: Enhancing Collaboration through App-based MDTs. Dr. Saranya and Dr. Balapriya also presented posters at the same conference.

The team had an enriching and memorable experience At MABCON 2025. Dr. Selvi Radhakrishna delivered a talk and shared insights from her experience with the One Stop Breast Center. Dr. Balapriya presented a case on pregnancy-associated breast cancer during the MDT session, while Dr. Saranya Parthasarathy delivered a rapid review of a paper published in the Annals of Surgical Oncology.
