Registration at the Front Desk

  •   Patient checks in at the reception/front desk.
  •   Basic demographic and medical details are recorded.
  •   Patient file is created (physical/electronic), and unique ID number is generated

Initial Clinical Assessment

   •   Physician Associates / Nurse Practitioners conduct preliminary evaluation (history, family history, prior investigations, current symptoms).
    •   Recording of vital signs and breast health questionnaire.
    •   Team Doctors / Breast Specialists review findings and perform focused clinical breast examination.
   •   Decision on need for imaging or further tests is taken.

Breast Imaging – Same Visit

   •   Mammogram (digital tomosynthesis) performed if indicated.
   •   Breast Ultrasound done as complementary imaging or primary tool in younger/premenopausal women.
   •   Reports reviewed by breast radiologist in real-time.

Image-Guided Biopsy – Same Visit (if indicated)

If imaging shows suspicious lesion:
   •   Ultrasound-guided core biopsy performed immediately if lesion is visible on ultrasound.
   •   Stereotactic biopsy performed for calcifications or mammographic-only lesions.
   •   Samples are sent for histopathology and further processing.

Further Assessment After Biopsy Report

If malignancy or atypia is detected:
   •    Immunohistochemistry (IHC) for receptor status (ER, PR, HER2).
   •   Advanced imaging as per clinical need: PET-CT scan for staging, MRI breast and Contrast Enhanced Mammogram for local extent of disease.

Final Treatment Planning

   •   Based on biopsy, receptor status, and staging, a personalized treatment plan is formulated.
   •   Treatment options (surgery, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, radiation) are explained to patient and family.
   •   Psychological support and counseling provided.

Multidisciplinary Care

   •   Multidisciplinary Tumor Board (Breast surgeon, Medical Oncologist, Radiation Oncologist, Radiologist, Pathologist) reviews complex cases.
   •   Integrated treatment protocol is finalized and coordinated care is provided.

Aftercare

Aftercare focussing on restoring body and mind with lifestyle modification, mindful living, yoga, pranayama, EFT, reflexology and other therapeutic techniques are encouraged and provided

Follow-up

Regular physical checkups including annual mammograms ensuring health, wellness and disease-free status
